1998 Land Rover Defender 110 300 Tdi Hi-Capacity Pick-Up

We are really excited to have this amazing Defender110 300 Tdi Hi-Capacity pick-up with us "for sale". Other than brand new this is the best example of this model I have experienced. In some ways, with its upgrades, it is probably better! This is not a restoration or recreation; it is a carefully prepared project with an eye for detail.

Registered on 20th November 1998, this Defender turns 26 years this year.

Still in its original Land Rover Caledonian Blue, the bodywork is near immaculate. A brand new Ifor Williams canopy was recently fitted and colour coded to match the vehicles original colour. Inside the pick-up bed it has been professionally coated in Linex. Linex is renowned for being one of the toughest and hard wearing coatings available and used worldwide. A matching spare wheel and tyre is securely mounted at the front of the pick-up bed.

The interior of the cab has been kept neat and original with the exception of the headlining and cab trim. These have been professionally re-trimmed in a black fabric to match the interior if its owners RS4 at the time. The tunnel and seatbox trim was replaced with original Land Rover trim, neat and hard wearing and easily washed out. The original 3 front seats remain trimmed in Denim Twill Vinyl for that durable and hard wearing finish and keeps the interior easy to clean. They, like the rest of the interior, are in excellent condition. It has an Alpine BT head unit mounted in a factory fit housing playing through Harman Kardon speakers. OE Footwell mat set keep the factory look inside.

The body work is very straight with some original paintwork keeping its original look without 26 year old patina. The front doors were renewed with later brand new 1 piece frame doors that are not so susceptible to corroding frames. These have been professionally painted and rebuilt with new parts when built. A new set of Original Land Rover Diamond Cut Sawtooth 18" SVX Alloys along with BF Goodrich A/T's finish off the smart look on the outside.

A close look shows the attention to finer details like its Stainless Steel tie hooks mounted along the inside and outside of the rear tub, the bespoke canopy flap cover and billet aluminium door hinges & windscreen blocks. Also its full Stainless Steel exhaust system, kept in like new condition.

A look underneath reveals the chassis has recently been fully corrosion treated...

This Defender really needs to be seen to be appreciated. It is a truly lovely car to drive and enjoy.
